Self-nominations and nominations by students are not accepted. A nominator must be a colleague of the candidate or an administrator at the candidate's institution.
Yes. Each institution may nominate up to three professors.
Nominees must have taught at the undergraduate level, part- or full-time, for at least one semester during the 2011-2012 academic year.
Individuals can win in their state only once but may reapply to enter the national level at any time.
Previous state winners who have moved to an institution in another state may reapply at the state level.
The entry fee is $95 per candidate.
The deadline for the U.S. Professors of the Year program is April 16, 2012. All unfinished or unsubmitted nominations after this date will not be considered.
No. All entry materials must be submitted online to be considered by the judges.
Yes. You will receive the first message once you begin the nomination process. This email will include your username and password and will provide you with a direct link to the site for your convenience. You will receive a second email once you have submitted payment. You should receive a final email once you submit your nominees to CASE.
Supporting letters should be no longer than two pages.
We accept only PDF documents.
You will not be able to edit a file once it is uploaded. However, if at any point you need to edit your entry materials, you may delete an uploaded file and upload a corrected version to our site.
The awards program will notify national and state winners no later than mid-September.
